ANNUAL OPEN TOURNAMENT

We are proud to host an annual Open Tournament and obtain some sponsorship from Broadstairs and St Peter's Town Council. The tournament  first started in 1946 and has been run every year since then apart from 2020 (Covid). This year will be our 79th tournament and will run from Monday 1st September until Friday 12th September 2025.

The competitions are open to anyone in the country, and we have had entries from as far away as Ipswich. There is prize money to be won in all of the competitions and for example the Men’s and Ladies Singles Competitions the champions receive £200 each. 

The whole tournament is organised and run by a committee made up of club members. We can provide bacon butties first thing in the morning, a varied menu for lunch including sandwiches, salads, pasties, and jacket potatoes. In the afternoon there is always a great selection of homemade cakes.

Entries for this years tournament are now closed but please come along as a spectator -   the bar will be open!
